How it works
A short, honest walkthrough of every stage of a fixed-price engagement.
We start with a 30–45 minute call. You describe what you want built; we ask questions and probe assumptions. If it's a good fit for both sides, we agree what happens next.
If it isn't a good fit — wrong size, wrong stack, wrong timeline — we say so on the call and recommend someone better suited. Nobody's time is well spent on a project that's destined to disappoint.
You pay a small fixed fee for a written specification. We produce:
If you don't want to proceed after the spec, you walk away owning the document. If you do, the spec fee is credited against the build.
We work in two-week stages. Each stage ends with a working, deployable slice you can review and try yourself. After each stage we run a short review: anything that doesn't match the spec gets fixed under the fixed price; anything new gets logged as a clearly-priced change.
Your source code lives in a GitHub repository you have full access to from day one. Nothing is locked away. You can browse the code, read the commit history, and pull it down whenever you want.
When all deliverables meet their acceptance criteria, you sign off the build. We hand over:
The handover meeting is also the moment we genuinely answer "what would I change if I were starting again." Honest hindsight, not a sales pitch.
You own everything. If you want us to keep maintaining it, great — we'll quote a transparent monthly retainer with clear deliverables. If you'd rather take it in-house or hand it to someone else, we'll help you onboard whoever takes over. No exit fees, no holding the keys hostage.
